Play Comes About In Many Forms.

When we usually think play, we think of a sandbox or tossing a ball around. However, there are many things that we do in ours lives for play. Like one person’s trash is another person’s treasure, one person’s form of play can be another person’s form of work.

According to the work of Dr. Stuart Brown, there are eight different types of play personalities.

We can have multiple play personalities. Our play personalities can change throughout our lives. We may lose interest in some forms of play at various points in our lives, only to return to it at a later point.

How Our Playful Life Coaching Program Works:

Initial Meeting:

If you live in the Vancouver area, great! We can meet face to face. Else, we can do a video call to get the ball rolling.

We will discuss where you’re currently at for the level of playfulness in your life, where you want it to be, and how to get there. We’ll go over the eight play personalitieswhich ones you fall under (what you are currently doing for play), what you used to do for play, and what you want to do for play.

Based around this information, we’ll come up with a program to help create a playful life.

Follow-up Sessions: 

We’ll will set follow up sessions with you to check in with how you are doing, and what need improving.

Playful Sessions:

Sure, we can meet up to chat for a coffee, but why not practice what we preach? Our follow-up sessions can take place anywhere. Into rock-climbing? Let’s climb! Into gardening? We can meet up at a community garden. Into collecting Coca Cola bottle caps from the 1950s? We can go browse an antique store together.

Number of Sessions:

You can have a number in mind beforehand, or we can play it by ear. Perhaps all you need is one session, or you want a check-in every few months. We’ll find something that works for you.

What do you charge?

That depends! It depends what you’re looking to achieve, how long you want to work with Playfcient, and your budget. We’ll come up with something that works!
